Abstract
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo conocer y exponer el impacto del abuso de cocaína en adolescentes en Chile y como afecta en su salud mental. La pregunta que guía la investigación es ¿Qué buscan los adolescentes en la euforia producida por la cocaína?, comprendiendo Euforia como la sensación exteriorizada de optimismo y bienestar excesivo producida por la administración de drogas. Se plantea esta pregunta como base investigativa para conocer los cambios mentales, psicológicos y sociales en adolescentes entre los 12 y 18 años. A quienes se les considera mayormente expuestos a abusos de sustancias, específicamente la cocaína. La investigación sistemática, crítica y rigurosa, permite su desarrollo a través del método cualitativo, el cual permite recolectar una gran variedad de material, no sólo expresada en papers de contenido científico, sino que también historias de vivencias reales, imágenes, material audiovisual, etcétera. Constituyendo un aporte al fin de esta investigación. Se recurre en primer lugar al método descriptivo como forma de explicar las características del fenómeno. Luego para profundizar el método documental en la investigación bibliográfica y hemerográfica. Y finalmente, explicativo permitiendo exponer el porqué del fenómeno y bajo qué condiciones se produce.

Abstract
The objective of this research is to know and expose the impact of cocaine abuse in adolescents in Chile and how it affects their mental health. The question that guides the research is: What do adolescents look for in the euphoria produced by cocaine?, understanding Euphoria as the externalized feeling of optimism and excessive wellbeing produced by the administration of drugs. This question is posed as a research basis to investigate mental, psychological and social changes in adolescents between 12 and 18 years of age. Those who are considered more exposed to substance abuse, specifically cocaine. Systematic, critical and rigorous research allows its development through the qualitative method, which allows the collection of a wide variety of material, not only expressed in papers with scientific content, but also stories of real experiences, images, audiovisual material, etc. which constitutes a contribution to the end of this research In the first place, the descriptive method is used as a way of explaining the characteristics of the phenomenon. Then to deepen the documentary method in bibliographic and newspaper research. And finally, explanatory allowing to expose the reason for the phenomenon and under what conditions it occurs.
