Abstract
La investigación explora las percepciones de las madres sobre el desarrollo académico y emocional de sus hijos en el espectro autista en el contexto de la educación online. A través de entrevistas semiestructuradas, se analizaron experiencias de madres de estudiantes de enseñanza básica; el enfoque del estudio es cualitativo, paradigma constructivista, el diseño es no experimental transversal y su alcance es exploratorio-descriptivo. Los resultados muestran que la educación online ha contribuido a un mayor bienestar emocional, reflejado en la ausencia de crisis y un ambiente seguro que reduce estímulos negativos. Se destaca además la adaptación positiva de los estudiantes, facilitada por la anticipación de actividades y la flexibilidad del formato. Las madres valoran la posibilidad de participar activamente en el proceso educativo, brindando apoyo y acompañamiento diario, lo que fortalece el aprendizaje y la tranquilidad de sus hijos. En conclusión, la modalidad online ha proporcionado un entorno más favorable para el desarrollo académico y emocional, resaltando el importante rol de las madres en este proceso.

Abstract
The research explores the perceptions of mothers about the academic and emotional development of their children on the autism spectrum in the context of online education. Through semistructured interviews, experiences of mothers of elementary school students were analyzed; The study approach is qualitative, constructivist paradigm, the design is non-experimental crosssectional and its scope is exploratory-descriptive. The results show that online education has contributed to greater emotional well-being, reflected in the absence of crises and a safe environment that reduces negative stimuli. The positive adaptation of the students is also highlighted, facilitated by the anticipation of activities and the flexibility of the format. Mothers value the possibility of actively participating in the educational process, providing daily support and accompaniment, which strengthens their children's learning and peace of mind. In conclusion, the online modality has provided a more favorable environment for academic and emotional development, highlighting the important role of mothers in this process.
