Abstract
El presente trabajo tuvo como finalidad entender, analizar y demostrar las técnicas de traducción presentes en el videojuego Valorant y su doblaje en Latinoamérica. Se comenzó recopilando información de diversos investigadores e investigadoras sobre la traducción, abarcando sus técnicas, modalidades, tipos, historia, entre otros. A continuación, se profundizó en la traducción audiovisual, siendo la subtitulación y el doblaje las más importantes en el área. Luego se hizo una recapitulación sobre los videojuegos, su historia, tipos y clasificaciones dando enfoque en el videojuego Valorant. Para finalizar se realizó un análisis de las frases de los personajes mediante tablas comparativas entre lengua original y lengua meta en base a las técnicas de traducción vistas a lo largo de la investigación.

Abstract
The purpose of this investigation was to understand, analyze and demonstrate the translation techniques present in the video game Valorant and its dubbing in Latin America. We began by compiling information from various researchers on translation, covering their techniques, modalities, types, history, among others. Next, we delved into audiovisual translation, being subtitling and dubbing the most relevant in the area. Then, we made a recapitulation of video games history, their types and classifications, focusing on the video game Valorant. Lastly, we analyzed the characters' phrases by comparative tables between the original language and the target language based on the translation techniques used throughout the research.
