| dc.description.abstract | Esta tesis realiza un análisis comparativo entre la traducción humana – la versión publicada en editorial realizada por Justo Navarro- y la traducción automática (TA) -la herramienta de traducción Google Translate- del capítulo 1 del libro El gran Gatsby de F. Scott Fitzgerald, centrándose en la complejidad y los desafíos que presenta la traducción literaria, con el objetivo de evaluar la calidad y efectividad de ambos tipos de traducción dejando plasmada la transmisión correcta del mensaje del texto original (TO) al texto meta (TM), de la lengua origen (LO) a la lengua meta (LM), sus matices culturales y la eficacia de cada uno. Se describen las técnicas de traducción empleadas para evaluar la calidad del texto y también se dará uso de los parámetros de revisión para corregir e identificar algunos errores que podamos encontrar en el texto. | es |

| dc.uniacc.abstract | This thesis execute a comparative analysis between human translation -the version published by Justo Navarro- and machine translation (MT) – the translation tool Google Translate - of Chapter 1 of the book The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, focusing on the difficulty and challenges presented by the literary translation; with the purpose of evaluate the quality and effectiveness of both types of translation, leaving the correct transmission of the message of the source text (ST) to the target text (TT), from the source language (SL) to the target language (TL); its cultural nuances, and the effectiveness of each one. There will be described the translation techniques used to evaluate the quality of the text, and we will also apply the revision parameters to correct and identify some inaccuracies that we may find in the text. | es |
