| dc.uniacc.abstract | The goal of this thesis is to improve inventory control by introducing Lean Manufacturing techniques in the warehouses of "Constructora y Servicios Sanitarios Limitada in Chile in early 2024". The research highlights key problems in the existing inventory management system and suggests utilizing methods like the Kanban system and the 5S methodology to streamline processes and minimize inefficiencies. The study utilizes a thorough methodological approach, which involves conducting interviews, distributing questionnaires, and directly observing, in order to gather primary and secondary data that back up the suggested tactics. Preliminary findings show that utilizing Lean tools can greatly enhance efficiency and precision in inventory control, leading to reduced task repetition and a better work atmosphere for both the company and its employees. The research ends with specific suggestions for successfully incorporating these tools into the organization's day-to-day operations. | es |
