Abstract
Este proyecto de grado demuestra un análisis de culturemas presentes en la serie de Netflix BoJack Horseman y su adaptación a la cultura latinoamericana. Se detallan las estrategias de traducción utilizadas en sus subtítulos al español para interpretar los resultados obtenidos y vincularlos al contexto en que se enmarca el proceso traductor. La investigación está compuesta por un marco teórico enfocado en la traducción audiovisual y en los conceptos de extranjerización y domesticación para el tratamiento de las referencias culturales; una recopilación de cien ejemplos representativos de referencias culturales en la serie dispuestos en tablas comparativas con una breve descripción de la escena, la técnica de traducción que se utilizó, si se optó por la extranjerización o la domesticación y por qué el traductor pudo haber estimado conveniente ocupar cada recurso; y las conclusiones derivadas de este análisis y las implicancias de estos hallazgos para la traducción de elementos culturalmente específicos.

Abstract
The following graduate project will demonstrate an analysis of culturemes found in the Netflix series BoJack Horseman and their corresponding adaptation to Latin American culture. The translation strategies used in the Spanish subtitles are outlined in detail to interpret the results and link them to the context in which the translation process is framed. The research consists of a theoretical framework focused on audiovisual translation and the concepts of foreignization and domestication regarding the treatment of cultural references. Under this premise, one hundred representative examples of cultural references in the series are compiled and arranged in comparative tables with a brief description of the scene, which translation technique was employed, whether the translator chose a foreignization or domestication strategy, and why the person may have considered it convenient to utilize each resource. This thesis finalizes with the conclusions derived from this analysis and the implications of these findings for translating culturally specific elements.
