dc.description.abstractLos estereotipos de género dictan mandatos que conllevan a la valoración de la mujer en función de sus acciones orientadas al bienestar y cuidado de otros, olvidándose de sí mismas. Situación que actualmente pareciera cambiar al momento de converger la jubilación y la viudez, donde se aprecia un deseo genuino de volver a sí mismas orientando el cuidado hacia el bienestar propio. En este sentido, se puede ver en las mujeres mayores cierta resistencia a establecer nuevas relaciones de pareja. El objetivo de la presente investigación es describir y comprender la actitud de las mujeres mayores actualmente solteras, viudas y divorciadas hacia las relaciones de pareja, referente a la influencia que pudieran generar los mandatos de roles de género, vivencias amorosas anteriores, el respaldo familiar-social y la posibilidad de espacios sociales. Se espera visibilizar una temática poco explorada e importante para resignificar el ser mujer mayor desde el activismo feminista

dc.uniacc.abstractGender stereotypes dictate orders that lead to the valuation of women based on their actions aimed at the well-being and care of others, forgetting about themselves. Situation that currently seems to change when retirement and widowhood converge, where a genuine desire to return to themselves is appreciated, directing care towards their own well-being. In this sense, one can see in older women a certain resistance to establishing new relationships. The objective of this research is to describe and understand the attitude of currently single, divorcee and widowed older women towards couple relationships, referring to the influence that gender role mandates, previous love experiences, family-social support and the possibility of social spaces. It is expected to make visible an almost non explored and important theme, and to give a new meaning to being an older woman from feminist activism.en
