Abstract
La idea de crear una ONG llamada AMA, nació de la empresa Estancia Cerro Paine dada la importancia y de la toma de conciencia de la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial. Con los años, esta idea fue creciendo y en noviembre de 2004 se conforma la Agrupación Medio Ambiental AMA Torres del Paine, con el objetivo de apoyar y financiar la investigación para el desarrollo de programas orientados al cuidado y la preservación medioambiental. La Organización está conformada por un grupo de personas, investigadores, trabajadores y empresarios, quienes comparten la visión de contribuir a la comuna de Torres del Paine mediante acciones de conservación, investigación, educación y desarrollo sustentable del turismo de la región de Magallanes.

Abstract
The idea of creating a Non-Governmental Organizations or NGO, this is how the Estancia Cerro Paine was born, given the importance of taking consciousness of the Corporative Social Responsibility. With the years, this idea grew and in November of 2004 the Agrupación Medio Ambiental AMA Torres del Paine was made up. With the objective of finance and support the investigation for the development of programs orientated to the care and preservation of the environment.
The organization is formed by a group of people, researchers, workers and entrepreneurs that share the vision of contributing to the commune of Torres del Paine by means of conservation, investigation, education and sustainable development of the tourism in the Magallanes region.
